Underneath is a passing mess of bubbles
Eyes hugging the line as it cruises by
Muscles of the legs hot
Weaving a slow ache
A face crawling red
Just on top.
SJ Finn has had short stories produced for radio and published in magazines. She has one novel published, Fine Salt, while writing poetry is a more recent delight.
